About
- Nodezator is a desktop application which is part of the Indie Python project
- The app is free of charge and dedicated to the public domain
- The app was released on June 2022, both on github.com and pypi.org
- The app is based entirely on pygame-ce and a tiny bit of numpy. No other external modules/libraries are used. Future versions may not even need numpy because even though it is awesome it is not strictly needed
- The app was created by me, Kennedy Richard S. Guerra, but there's no way it would be nearly as good as it is today without the many suggestions, feedback, constructive criticism and code contributions of the awesome community that can be found in the Indie Python discord server and on github discussions for Nodezator
Zenith Green - mascot
Nodezator has a mascot called Zenith Green. It is a friendly harmless robot from the future. It can create almost anything. Its power isn't as convenient as it seems, though. To create new stuff it must synthesize and combine tiny rectangles which represent small operations in the fabric of reality (we call them nodes). It also has to channel different reality-describing materials through the rectangles (we call them data, but nodes can be data as well, that is, they can also travel through other nodes!). It is possible to obtain innumerable results by combining even a small number of nodes and data in different ways. People are always amazed by what Zenith can create from simple stuff.
Zenith likes to search for new combinations that may bring joy to people and made this the purpose of its existence. It doesn't do so in a hurry, though. The process is so fun, after all!
, it thinks.
